The project Lonac – Collective Impact for Youth aimed to mobilize collective efforts of governments, businesses, NGOs and individuals to provide sustainable and free opportunities for young women and men to participate, learn, make decisions, receive mentoring support and grants to start their own microenterprises and/or community initiatives. The goal of Lonac was to create a nation-wide, multi-stakeholder and value-driven ecosystem that provides ongoing and tailor-made opportunities for any young women and men, regardless of their identities or location, to succeed in the social and/or economic sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The objectives of evaluation were to provide an independent assessment of the project and measure the extent to which the expected results were achieved and to identify relevant lessons learned. Also, the evaluation aimed to provide a set of recommendations on the potential for scaling up some project components and for improving project design and intervention logic. The evaluation was designed to include a multi-phase and multimethod approach which combines desk research and application of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. The first phase of the evaluation included desk research, creation of graphical form and narrative of theory of change and also evaluation tools. The second phase included data collection and analysis. Data from various respondents is collected through online questionnaires and interviews/focus groups/group discussions. The questionnaire was applied to a convenient sample of different groups of Lonac's beneficiaries, with total number of 438 responses. Interviews and focus groups were conducted with several groups of respondents – project beneficiaries, key project staff, key informants and other stakeholders in project – a total of 38 respondents.
