The main goal of the evaluation was to asses and evaluate achievements, success and general impact of the Centre for Supporting Women and Children Victims of Domestic Violence for the period 2010-2012, taking into consideration the common criteria related to protection and improvements of human rights with special emphasis on women’s and child’s rights.

The basic model of evaluation process included desk research (analysis of relevant program documentation and analysis of qualitative data collected from relevant sources) and semi-structured interviews with key participants and project partners. The evaluation process was conducted in July and August 2012 in Modriča, Derventa and Banja Luka. An appropriate sample of 23 respondents was selected from the mentioned municipalities.

Generally seen, the activities implemented by AC Budućnost Modriča through project activities related to providing adequate care for victims of domestic violence, development of intersectoral cooperation and approach in work, as well as raising public awareness on the problem of domestic violence are relevant for the accomplishment of the project objectives. The need of service and activities of the Centre for Supporting Women and Children Victims of Domestic Violence are still present in the Doboj region municipalities.
