The overall goal of the Youth for Change project is to support young women and men in developing more prosperous local communities by being active and engaged members of society who create and obtain (self) employment, and who improve the living conditions of residents in their local communities.
Main objectives of the external mid-term evaluation were to provide an independent assessment of the project; relevance, effectiveness, coherence, impact and sustainability of its achievements; and recommendations for design and implementation of the next phase of the project. Evaluation approach and methodology are crafted to account for the profile of evaluation participants and the thematic nature of the project. Both accountability and learning driven methodology is proposed in order to enable meaningful participation, experiential learning and the co-creation of mid-term evaluation implications and recommendations. Data collection process included field visits to six municipalities/towns in BiH, Key Informant Interviews, online survey and online participatory workshops, with a total 138 respondents.
