According to the data collected, the estimated number of stray dogs in the city of Sarajevo in 2016 is 9806, with the 95% confidence interval between 7267 and 12346 stray dogs. So, there is no statistically significant difference in the number of dogs when matching the same squares across the two years (2016 and 2015), which suggests that the population of stray dogs in Sarajevo remains stable. The estimated number of stray dogs in the rest of the Sarajevo Canton in 2016 is 8105.04 with the 95% confidence interval between 6618 and 9592 stray dogs. The formal statistical testing tells that there is no statistically significant difference in the number of dogs when matching the same squares across the two years (2016 and 2015).
